Flower Pot Sculpture 1

I made this cardboard sculpture to Ruth Baum's flower pot in Hamburg, Germany, during ArtGenda 2002 happening. The work was a part of instantart projects call an artwork-service. I stayed two hours at Ruth's home, we sat by her kitchen table with the flowerpot between us. I built a small sculpture to her while we talked about all kind of things. She made us some coffee. We speculated that when Ruth's flower grows it will change or destroy the sculptural forms around itself, although the cardboard forms may effect how the plant will grow.
