Moving to the north

In this work I moved every possible object in the room 15 centimeters towards the north having a compass and a ruler as tools. Things that couldn´t be moved because of the wall just stayed as they were. The action took place in the home of Nicole Fabisch and Gerhard Zarbock in Hamburg, Germany. "Moving To The North" was part of ArtGenda 2002 happenings Instantart CallAnArtwork-service. The orderers of the art work chose this to be executed in their home among many of my projects. At the same time the action was immaterial and totally dependant on the property of Mrs.Fabisch and Mr.Zarbock.
