Eighties, 2003

The work is a flash movie loop composed of photographs from the 1980's. Photos were taken by the artist's friends of that era and were not originally intended to be part of any artwork. The script that runs the movie changes the visual content of the work partially at random so that the loop is a little bit different at it's every cycle. The black and white and fast appearance of the "Eighties" reflects the artist's memory about that period in Helsinki city.
