Paintings Of Sculptures, 2000

-This serie of acrylic paintings continues the theme of "8 Sculptures"-serie. Size of each painting is 100x141 cm. In the first part of the serie I drew the forms of four sculptures on  each other and then painted the areas between the lines with very flat style.In the other part of the serie I filled the outer form of one sculpture with inner forms of other sculpture and then painted the fields between the lines. I chose the colours so that I tried to avoid works becoming very spatial opposite to the sculptures the works represented. Works describe the movement and tension between painting and sculpture.
